Our Business

In the begining Summer Thyme Floral was a name I used, when I would do weddings & decorating for people on the side! I worked in the medical field & was very unhappy !

 I left & went back to something I loved!  I worked for a few flower shops, then managed one! During that time, My mom was closing down her flower shop in Florida!

 She called me on my 28th birthday.  She asked me if I would like a flower shop for a birthday gift? She told me I was ready for my own store! We moved a few thing up from Florida! A month or so later Summer Thyme Floral was up & running in November 2006!

Who Is the force behind Summer Thyme Floral?

Thats Me, Summer Stiffler!

 I am a 3rd generation florist!

I was taught well by my mother & people are right when they say,

 "it is in your blood!"

I also worked in a high end flower shop, near Naples, Florida!

There I worked under the best in the business!

They worked in the White House, worked on floats at the Rose Bowl Parade for years & much more!

One designer was showed on HGTV, on the preshow, "The making of the floats! Cool Right! :)

They polished my design style & molded me, now I am very well rounded in any designs!

 I am very lucky or blessed to

know what I do!

Historic Albert Stoner Building.
This store front has been a
 very popular place to many great businesses.  

It's been the home of the following:
 Albert Stoner's Tin Shop & Variety Store
in the 1899's, Lodge's Variety Store in the 1930's,

Richards Variety Interiors in the 1990's & now,
 Summer Thyme Floral!

We are very proud to have our
store in such a wonderful building.
We have a display case filled
 with pieces of this
 building's history; as well as,
 books from the
Fulton County Historical
 Society for sale.
